The hotel's location was ideal, just minutes from the beach. The shower had weak pressure, and the absence of an ironing board was inconvenient.

Dirty. Musty. Creepy. It was a busy weekend in SJ, but that does not mean that you do not change the sheets or provide more than a cheap bar of soap for this amount of money. Hostels provide more comfort. I will not recommend this facility. the bed had bugs

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel because of the comfort and information the staff so willing provided, the location - very close to Condado Beach and Supermax, and the area is a nice one to be in, whether you choose to spend time nearor in Old San Juan.

This place suits me perfectly. Great Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a cozy bar area provide everything I need. The staff even helped me exchange money on my first stay, made a big difference. I recommend it for a comfortable stay.

Good price for 1 or 2 days . Close to good resturaunts and beach. We stayed after a cruise till we flew out of San Juan. Nice owner very helpful. Great AC in room . No AC in lobby etc. Not really a vacation destination hotel, unless on tight budget.

Very helpful staff, a very clean hotel. The atmosphere of the Puerto Rican full experience was shared by helpful hotel employee'S.. I loved how I would always feel at home, and peaceful..Knowing that everytime I needed help with finding a location I was given support from the hotel staff. The rooms were also very clean and loved the smell of the rooms.. The artistic style of spanish art was revealed around, as well as within the Hotel....
Mabe the parking was a little small, but it was good enough to have a great time in Puerto Rico...

The charming old-world decor and lush rooftop garden captivated me! It seemed like a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, even at my age.

The hotel was very clean. The owner was very nice and helpful as well as other staff. The beach is only two streets over and it is close to restaurants and other little shops.
The only thing I didn't like was it was hard to get hot water. If you didn't take a shower early in the day the water was cool for the rest of the evening. However it was still a great little place.

Staff was nice. Location was close to local eatery.
I was surprised to find a $20 price increase when I arrived due to two guests vs. One. Apparently they have a single person rate and a 2 person rate - new to me. Dated facilities, low water pressure.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient to the beach. A large supermarket with a cafeteria open all 24 hours was immediately adjacent to the hotel. It is convenient to city bus routes.

The host is just excellent, he is a former history professor from Spain who can help you with suggestion for your day trip and other attractions on the island. He is also a great facilitator responding to customers needs immidately, sometimes in a very unexpected, but always nice and helpful way. He hook me up with two guys who went to Old San Juan to grab something for lunch, so I don't have too pay $15 for taxi :-)) And as everybody in Puerto Rico, he gave us his number and asked us to call him anytime we would need some help, with anything! It was just great to have somebody like him in a new location.
The facilities are quite poor if you talk about the bathroom. But it wasn't that bad. The room was cleaned every day and tehre was enough of hot water.

The staff were excellent. I had a question about getting a taxi to the airport and their advice was terrific. They were also helpful in finding a good place to eat.
While I researched this hotel on the internet and saw the photos and read the reviews, nothing prepared me for the closet-sized room where I stayed. It had a huge air conditioner in the single window. There was no way to see outside and I think the room backed up to another building. The shower worked, but there was a huge hole in the wall. There was an overhead light, but no light closer to the bed. The room gave me the creeps.

Just like Home, Christopher shared a lot of history and information with us about the area and guided us to some of the best places in San Juan. 24 Hour grocery next door that serves Cafeteria style breakfast, lunch, dinner at a good price. They even have freshly made sushi there. Atmosphere was old world charm. Rooftop lounge chairs and patio tables. Quiet atmosphere. Easy to travel to old San Juan by car or bus. Not directly on the beach, but 3 blocks away for a nice sunny walk.
Parking was very limited. 3 spots up front, but we were able to park at the 24 hour grocery since we frequented it a lot.....
